These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the web hosting, domain, email, SSL, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Bremnes Data & Consulting (BREDC), trading as BredcHosting.com (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By ordering, accessing, or using the Services, you (“you”, “Customer”, or “Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1) Definitions
- Account: Your customer profile used to manage Services and billing.
- Content: Any data, files, websites, emails, databases, or materials you upload, host, or transmit using the Services.
- Fair Use: Reasonable and responsible usage of shared resources to ensure quality of service for all Customers.
- Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
- Service Credit: A credit applied to your account in accordance with our SLA (if eligible).
2) Eligibility & Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
- You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to keep your details updated.
- You are responsible for all activities under your Account and for safeguarding login credentials.
- We may refuse, suspend, or terminate an Account at our reasonable discretion.
3) Orders, Provisioning & Onboarding
- Orders are offers to purchase Services and are subject to acceptance and verification.
- Provisioning times may vary; activation occurs once payment is verified and prerequisites are met.
- We may request additional verification to prevent fraud or abuse.
4) Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
You agree not to use the Services for unlawful activities, spamming, distribution of malware, resource abuse, or activities that may harm other customers, networks, or systems. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination without refund.
5) Resource Usage & Fair Use
Shared hosting resources must be used fairly. Excessive CPU, memory, or bandwidth usage that negatively affects other customers may result in throttling, suspension, or upgrade requirements.
6) Domain Registration, Transfer & Renewal
- Domain names are subject to registry and registrar policies.
- Renewals are your responsibility; failure to renew may result in loss of domain.
- We are not liable for expired domains due to late or failed payments.
7) SSL Certificates & Security Features
SSL certificates may be included or purchased separately. Automatic renewals depend on proper DNS and server configuration. You are responsible for ensuring SSL functionality for your domains.
8) Email & Anti-Spam Policy
Bulk mailing and unsolicited spam are prohibited. Mailbox quotas and fair usage rules apply. Violations may lead to suspension or termination without refund.
9) Backups & Data Recovery
While we may provide automated backups, Customers are responsible for maintaining their own backup copies. We do not guarantee full recovery of data in all circumstances.
10) Service Levels, Maintenance & SLA
We aim to provide high uptime levels. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. Service Credits may be offered for downtime beyond SLA thresholds, subject to limitations.
11) Support & Escalation
Support is provided through official channels. Response times depend on ticket priority and plan. Abuse of support staff may lead to suspension of Services.
12) Billing, Payments, Refunds & Chargebacks
- Invoices must be paid by the due date.
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of Services.
- Refunds are only issued according to our refund policy.
- Chargebacks may result in immediate suspension of all Services.
13) Suspension, Termination & Data Retention
We may suspend or terminate Services for non-payment, AUP violations, or legal requirements. Data may be deleted after termination and cannot always be restored.
14) Privacy, Data Protection & GDPR
We handle Personal Data in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy. You remain the Data Controller for Content you store or process. We act as a Data Processor where applicable.
15) Security Responsibilities
We implement security measures, but Customers are responsible for securing their applications, passwords, and data. Use of outdated or vulnerable software is at your own risk.
16) Content Ownership & Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your Content. By using our Services, you grant us a license to host and transmit your Content as necessary. Illegal or infringing Content is prohibited.
17) Third-Party Services & Software
We may provide or resell third-party products (e.g., domains, SSL, software). Such products are subject to third-party terms. We are not responsible for their performance or support.
18) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Services are provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data.
19) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
20) Changes to the Services & Terms
We may modify Services or these Terms at any time. Continued use of Services after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified where reasonably possible.
21) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Disputes shall be resolved in Norwegian courts, unless mandatory consumer protection laws state otherwise.
